橋
我從來都不喜歡藝術中心門外那條橋，把大門口遮住得黑沉沉．那條橋亦是全無作用的－－跟本沒有人從君悅酒店行過來，亦沒人行過去．那條橋現在是流浪漢出沒的地方．今天訪問一位參與建造藝術中心的工程師，才知道當初設計時，這條橋是沒有蓋的，闊度至少有現在的兩倍，是藝術中心的活動延伸過去公園的extention deck，上面可進行很多活動．對面公園，原意是給藝術中心進行公共藝術和戶外表演，例如中國戲棚的地方．
這是何弢的構思．真精彩．

建築、藝術、環境、空間，本就是一體。人與生活，再付予這「一體」生命與性格。
想像「橋」的原來構思，就立刻想到可以在這公共空間發生的許多好玩事 ... 公共藝術，是生活一部份。
絕對同意「何弢的構思．真精彩」！只有愛藝術、懂藝術的人才會有這樣的構思。

唔知設計師佢本人見到呢家的藝術中心同佢設計時的原意有咁大分別，會唔會唔開心呢﹖
well, i don't know why the bridge was built this way. there is always gaps between design and product; plan and result; dream and reality.
and i don't think the designer would get very upset when he sees his dreams get only 50% fulfilled. when a project is nearly finished, the designer would have jumped into his new dream already.
老實說,其實我覺得藝術中心的位置不佳,看完戲後附近死氣沉沉........
